Vanessa & John
Our Story
Vanessa and John met in middle school during a track meet. They were both novice hurdlers with a fierce competitive edge. Already so much in common.
On to freshman year, one day Vanessa misses the bus. John notices, and offers to walk her home. This becomes a frequent & intentional event. They walk, talk and laugh all the way to her house. Soon, they go on their first date. They became movie aficionados. They celebrate Vanessa's birthday at six flags, and visit Schlitterbahn that summer. It is a lively and memorable year. However, timing is not right, and they remain great friends.
After high school, Vanessa and John reconnect, and officially begin dating. One funny person and one funnier person, both with big hearts and even bigger personalities, no big deal right?
11 years later, John FINALLY proposes in front of family and friends. The growth, hard work, and love it has taken to get to this moment is extraordinary. Surely, there isn't a hurdle too high for these two to overcome.
