All details are subject to change as we get closer to the big day. For the most up-to-date information, please check back here. If you have any questions that aren’t answered on this page, we’d love to hear from you — please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re so grateful to share this special time with you and can’t wait to celebrate together!
Question

Is the Ceremony and Reception Venues separate from each other?

Answer

Yes, though both venues are relatively close to each other. Just a mile a way!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held indoors, while the cocktail hour and reception will take place outdoors.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

For those attending the ceremony, please arrive at the church by 1:20 pm. The doors will close promptly at 1:30 pm. Out of respect for the sacredness of the ceremony, late arrivals cannot be accommodated. If you are unable to arrive on time, we would be delighted to welcome you at the cocktail hour and reception beginning at 3:00 pm.

Question

Will there be parking?

Answer

Absolutely! Heading towards St. Augustine by the Sea on Ohua Avenue, look for a black metal gate, just before the brown two-story building. Party time? No worries, the valet is ready for you to arrive at anytime after the ceremony.

Question

What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

We’d love for you to join us in garden chic attire for our celebration. Since it’ll be outdoors on a lawn, we recommend shoes that work well on grass and kindly ask that stilettos or thin heels be avoided for comfort and safety. Umbrellas will be provided, and sunhats are encouraged as they will keep you cool and add a fun touch to your outfit!

Question

What are your colors for the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding palette is best described as a soft, warm champagne tone reflecting the background of this website and our invitations.

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

RSVP using the QR code provided on your invitation, by visiting the following link: https://www.zola.com/wedding/vanessaandjemwell/rsvp, or simply click the following page labeled "RSVP". Please be sure to include a response for yourself and your guests. All RSVPs must be submitted by March 2026. Submitting on time will help us make the necessary arrangements with ease.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

To help us plan accordingly, we have reserved a set number of seats for each invited party. Please RSVP only for the number of seats indicated on your invitation.

Question

Can we record or take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

During the church ceremony, we ask that phones and electronic devices be put away. Your love and excitement mean the world to us, and we would love for everyone to be fully present in the moment. A team will be capturing all the photos and videos, so you can simply sit back, relax, and share this special time with us. Feel free to take as many pictures and videos during the reception portion of the day!
