We first met in 2010 while in college. He was at Texas A&M in College Station, and I was at UTPA in Edinburg. Our very first date took place in College Station, but the timing wasn’t right. We stayed friends, drifted apart, and life led us on separate paths, each of us growing, exploring the world, and discovering more along the way. Twelve years later, fate brought us back together. Our “second first date” in McAllen began at Salome, continued with gold at Top Golf, and ended with country dancing at Hillbilly's, and this time, everything felt right. Though he was living in Houston and I was in Edinburg, distance couldn’t keep us from what we both knew was meant to be. After half a year of long-distance, we took the leap and moved in together in Houston. Now, four and a half years later, we’re saying yes to forever! Grateful for every step, every twist of timing, and the way God’s perfect plan guided us back to each other.
