Are there food options in Vail and the Ranch?

Answer

Yes, Vail has fantastic restaurants. The ranch also has a restaurant and bar on site as well as a snack shop. There are grills if you are staying at the ranch and would like to cook your own food!

Where should I book a hotel?

Answer

Please book your hotel at the Highline at Vail- we have a room block with a discounted rate. We will have the shuttles pick us up from this location! There are also other hotel and AirBNB options in the area if you want to shop around. There is space for the wedding party and immediate family on the ranch the night of the wedding. The wedding party should book their own lodging the other days.

If I want to drive to the venue, do I need 4 wheel drive?

Answer

Piney is up a dirt road that takes about 40 minutes to drive up from Vail. You don’t need 4 wheel drive unless there’s bad weather. Vanessa can drive up this road easily :)

How long does it take to get up to Piney River Ranch from Vail?

It is about a 40 minute drive up a dirt road!

Can I Uber or use a taxi to get from Vail to the venue?

Answer

No! There is no cell phone service or internet up at the ranch and most Uber’s/ taxis won’t drive up the road to Piney.

How can I get to the float day at the ranch on Sunday?

Answer

Please provide your own transportation. There will be many people renting cars if you want to coordinate!
