We’re getting married y’all!

We had known each other for years, but never conversed. All that changed on my 15th birthday... August 28, 2009 a day I’ll never forget. It’s so vivid it’s like it happened yesterday. You got a little smart assy with me over my short shorts so i snapped back at you but it’s crazy because the moment you spoke to me my heart fluttered, my knees got weak, i felt so lost in your voice. Call me crazy but on that day and in that moment i knew i would love you for forever. I knew i had to make you my mine. None the less a week later September 4, 2009 you asked me to be your girlfriend. And we’ve been living our love song ever since. 💕

We were on our first ever family vacation, a cruise. It was day 5 on the ship and we had just left the farewell dinner. The kiddos wanted to go play with their friends in the daycare so we dropped them off and proceeded with our night. Grant started walking me all around the ship... he brought me to the very top just when the sun was setting, it was gorgeous! I was so in love with the view i had asked an employee to snap a picture of us, little did i know what was coming next. She took our picture and then i heard Grant say “can you take one more” i turned and looked at him and there he was on one knee, smiling ear to ear, asking me to marry him. My heart was overwhelmed with joy and love and of course i said YES! And juat like that we were engaged. It was one of the best days of my life!
