Is Cabo San Lucas safe?

Yes! It is safe and encouraged to leave the resort and checkout the nearby town and marina. Traveling to Cabo San Lucas is much like traveling to many popular spots around the world. The U.S. State Department currently lists Mexico at a Level 2 advisory (Exercise Increased Caution) — the same advisory level you’ll find for well-loved European destinations such as France, Italy, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom, and several others. Level 2 simply means exercising normal travel awareness — being mindful of your surroundings and following basic safety tips — which is something you do when visiting many international destinations. Millions of visitors travel safely to these places each year.
