Yes! It is safe and encouraged to leave the resort and checkout the nearby town and marina. Traveling to Cabo San Lucas is much like traveling to many popular spots around the world. The U.S. State Department currently lists Mexico at a Level 2 advisory (Exercise Increased Caution) — the same advisory level you’ll find for well-loved European destinations such as France, Italy, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom, and several others. Level 2 simply means exercising normal travel awareness — being mindful of your surroundings and following basic safety tips — which is something you do when visiting many international destinations. Cocktail attire which is similar to semi-formal. For example, women may wear midi dresses or longer, while men should wear a suit.
