We first laid eyes on each other on the basketball floor. Little did I know the older guy that was loudly cheering for me in the game would be my fiancé years later. He was seated behind the scores counter taking the score. I was intimidated to talk or look at "any" guy with my parents around! However, he was very comfortable that day. As I was checking into the game, he kept on saying "Hey number 10." I of course ignored him because he was a bit embarrassing. As the game went on, I got very fond of my personal referee/coach/cheerleader/friend who I knew nothing about! Every year that I ran into him he continued to be persistent, even when I told him I had a boyfriend! It was the same song, Hey number 10! I know crazy huh? Crazy in love possibly. Crazy how I had literally thought I found love twice before, and randomly he would pop up and those crazy feelings along with adrenaline that I felt as a little girl on that court, would still be there. How could I say yes to anyone else? This man of mine isn't perfect, but he is perfect for me. He is a man of very little words, but has a heart full of love. A giving heart. A loyal heart. Protective heart. A lot of time it is all about the women, but this day it will be all about US. The ball landed in his court, and the game is still on. However, this time we will be playing on the same team! #LandedonRagland We hope to see you there! Good Food and Drinks, DJ, And lots of Dancing!
