Our Wedding

Vanessa and Dawson both attended Aquinas College. Vanessa was in her 3rd year of nursing school and Dawson was a transfer from Mott CC to play baseball in Fall of 2018. They never formally met on campus prior, but they did meet in Florida during Dawson's spring break training for baseball, while playing beach volleyball together, in March of 2019. They ran into each other again at the beginning of their Senior year of college at a basketball event and have been together since! After Vanessa graduated from nursing school in 2020, she moved to San Antonio to work in the ER, and the two did long distance for a year. Dawson moved to Texas after his graduation in 2021 and they have been living in San Antonio together since. On October 15, 2024, they got engaged on Prince Edward Island and can't wait to celebrate their marriage with their closest friends and family in September! Matthew 19:6: "So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate."
