We met as coworkers at Duck Donuts in Durham, Vanessa made the first move with texting David asking to hang out after Vanessa told his friend, Dom she liked him! Vanessa’s dad bought a house about 4 minutes away from David’s mom before she started dating David! Talk about meant to be!

We bought a house March 21, 2024 after we were all moved in and somewhat settled David waited our first weekend in the house to propose! We had just gotten some cookout for dinner and came home and he turned the fireplace on and we cuddled up and ate.
