If the ceremony is in Pentwater, MI and The Stearns Hotel is in Ludington, MI, where should we plan on staying?

Answer

We highly recommend staying at The Stearns Hotel which is where the reception will be held. Anywhere else in nearby Ludington is also a great idea as lodging is much more difficult to find in Pentwater.

How far away is the ceremony in Pentwater from The Stearns Hotel in Ludington?

Answer

It is a 19 mile drive; roughly 22 minutes.

Is it true the ceremony will be located at a private summer residence and will only include a small number of people?

Answer

Yes, due to unforseen circumstances we made the decision to have a small, private ceremony.

Due to COVID-19, what safety measures will be in place if we do attend?

Answer

We will follow the advice mandated by the state of Michigan. The safety and comfort of our guests is important to us. Please feel free to wear masks, we will have hand sanitizer available, and please do not attend if you are feeling ill. As things evolve and change, more information may change.

When must we RSVP by?

Answer

We will no longer be sending formal invitations due to the last minute changes. Please RSVP online or send us a quick call/text/email if that is best for you, no later than 1 week prior to the ceremony, unless you are ill.

How do I book a room at The Stearns Hotel?

Answer

They do not take reservations online. Please call (231) 843-3407 or visit http://stearnshotel.com for information. There are several rooms blocked off for our guests and not available to see on their website. Please let them know you are part of our guest list and to find out available rooms and details for our guests, call them directly.

Where will the bride and groom be staying?

Answer

We will be staying at a cottage in Pentwater. The night of the ceremony we will be staying at The Stearns Hotel in Ludington.

Since the ceremony is still going as planned, do you have a new date set for the reception?

Answer

The reception is postponed and rescheduled for Saturday, July 10, 2021 at The Stearns Hotel in Ludington.
