We've built a wonderful life together, and we want to celebrate it with all the people we love, and to thank you for your care, support, and patience-- and we want the people we care about to meet each other! Vanessa: And I want to have some happy crying time in front of other people. I thrill at the prospect! Chelsea: And I want our cats to know we're in it for the long haul.
We hope so, but we're just not sure. We're going to re-evaluate near the end of June, and will let you know around then if we need to make a change of plans. The good news: if it IS safe to gather and mingle, we're all going to be ready for one hell of a party. In the meantime, confinement at home is a great opportunity to perfect your dance moves.
Yes! Just let us know, and we'll make sure you're taken care of. If you are pescatarian or vegetarian, we already have you covered-- the meal will be pescatarian (sorry, carnivores).
Kiddos are welcome! Especially if they can party!

Getting to Bottom Lounge by transit is easy: take the Green or Pink Line to Ashland, the 9 bus to Ashland & Lake, or the 30 Bus to Madison & Throop. All stops are a very short walk from the venue. There are a number of Divvy bike share stations nearby ;-) The area has plenty of street parking. The venue has a small lot, though that may be full if there's a band playing downstairs on the same night.
Our wedding is the upstairs of a music venue + bar. Join us downstairs to continue the celebration! We expect the party to after party transition to happen around 11 pm, but stay tuned.
Either! Midway is 30min from downtown via the Orange Line, and O'Hare is 40min from downtown via the Blue Line.
We're getting married at a bar with both indoor and outdoor areas. We suggest cocktail attire, but wear whatever makes you comfortable.
