We were Microbiology lab partners at UCF. Some would say it was love at first sight! Fate brought us together during the first lab session and we instantly clicked. The second lab session we were not able to sit next to each other and we quickly realized that lab wouldn't be as much fun without each other. So when the third lab session came along and we had to choose permanent seats I think we both made sure to get there early that day. From that moment on our relationship and love for each other has truly grown into something that we have learned to not take for granted. When we graduated from UCF our paths of education separated us with distance but it has only made our love and connection stronger. It is accurate to say that we have driven thousands of miles to see each other over the last few years, our cars' odometers show it. We have learned that distance does make the heart grow fonder and it has taught us to appreciate our time together. We are so glad to finally be able to tie the knot this coming January and officially begin our lives together. We are so very excited to celebrate with everyone we love so dearly. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of our lives!
After finishing a few grueling semesters of school we had decided that we needed an escape. We picked the cheapest ticket that we could find to the most interesting place, this landed us in Washington D.C. I had never been before so I was so excited to see everything that I could in our little weekend getaway. We spent the whole first day exploring the National Mall and visiting the different monuments. Branden saved the best monument for last, the WWI Memorial, which is a beautiful marble gazebo. As I stood there admiring the beauty of the monument I managed to turn my back to Branden for a minute and by the time I turned back around he was down on one knee. To be honest, it was the biggest and best surprise of my life and I instantly started bawling. This was just one of our adventures in this thing called life and I can't wait for a lifetime of many more.
