We were just two high school kids that met by association. You were introduced to me as "Teddy" and our friendship flourished from there. From walking to class and screaming "look there's a dinosaur!" and making me look (as if dinosaurs still existed lol). Senior year came and went so fast that you hung out more with our group, always down to do whatever. After graduating, is when things started changing between us. We saw each other in a different light. Our texts would start off with "babe" but when we would see each other we acted like nothing was going on. We kept fronting for a while until one day you asked me to have dinner with you and said "dress nice". Here you are picking me up, wearing a grey buttoned down long sleeve, jeans and some nike blazers. I'm wearing a magenta blouse, with jeans and heels. You took me to Texas Land & Cattle and after we had dinner you asked me out to be your girlfriend. I didn't give you an answer that day because I had to think about it. I kept telling myself ,"I don't want to lose my best friend if something goes wrong". A couple of days passed and as the saying went "its not real unless it's on facebook" So on September 6, 2010 I changed my status from single to "in a relationship" and called him to tell him to check his facebook. I know , why didn't I just call him and tell him I had said yes? Because I'm dramatic like that. We still laugh to this day how "lame" that was but hey that's what makes our story unique and ours. For those who knows us knows that our love has been nothing but patience and we are so happy to be able to share our love story with you all.

I was pondering about the best way to ask so I enlisted the help of the three stooges: Kimberly, Erica and Glenduuh. They helped me plan the perfect way to ask her and we chose to do it on Friday September 6th, 2019. I also asked my good friend Clarence to drive me to the location because Vanessa would've noticed my car. Erica and Clarence helped me set up the location with roses and balloons , while Kimberly and Zayn's black ass (Zayn is Kimberly's son) were bringing Vanessa to the location for "Girls Night bike ride". As I waited for her to get there, Clarence stood nearby with two songs ready to play. If she said no he was going to play "I hate you" by Z-Ro but if she said yes he'd play "Mo City Don". It's safe to say we know what song ended up playing and the rest is history. Now I'm patiently waiting to devote my life to making her the happiest wife.
