After recieving defective merchandise from a local Home Depot, I went in to the store to have the situation rectified and to exchange my very broken refrigerator for a new one. The young man working at the counter, maybe 16 or 17, told me that I had to come back to speak with a certain individual at a later time. Frustrated, and still hauling around a broken fridge, I left the store and came back at a later time as I was advised. As I was wrapping up the exchange with the service desk, I looked up briefly and made eye contact with a handsome man that I truly thought I would never see again. A couple of nice guys who I am now blessed to have as friends loaded up my new fridge, and I left the store with flashbacks in my head the whole way. While sharing the experience of seeing “The Home Depot Guy” with a close co-worker and friend of mine at the time, I recieved a Facebook friend request from the man whose face I couldn’t seem to forget. I’m still amazed to this day by the fact that the one and only time I have ever worn a nametag, just so happened to be the day that we locked eyes. And to be truthful, I never believed in love at first sight until I saw Dillon for the very first time.
