FAQs

Question

Are Kids welcomed?

Answer

Our wedding is a more intimate celebration with only the children in our bridal party attending. We respectfully request that our wedding celebration be an adult-only occasion otherwise.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black-Tie Gentlemen: A tuxedo or suit (bow or tie) Ladies: Formal floor-length gowns. Prohibited Colors: Red, yellow, ivory, champagne, and silver. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone looking their best!

Question

Is there parking onsite?

Answer

Yes, there's a gated private parking lot with plenty of parking. You are more than welcome to leave your car there overnight after the reception - we recommend taking a taxi or uber after! No drinking and driving!

Question

Is there cellphone service?

Answer

Cellphone service will be on roaming while in Mexico, so please plan accordingly. Please reach out to your cellphone provider in advance to set up an international calling/texting plan as needed. There will be WIFI available at Villa del Paraiso. We also highly recommend downloading the messaging app "WhatsApp" this is a messaging system you can use on wifi when you are abroad.

Question

By when do we need to RSVP

Answer

To help with our planning please respond to RSVP to the events as soon as possible. However deadline is September, 15, 2025

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please notify us if you have any food allergies so we can accommodate your needs.

Question

Additional travel information

Answer

We recommend a Friday or Saturday arrival and a Monday departure for more ease at the border crossing. However, if that is not possible the earlier hours of the day will be less busy. For anyone with NEXUS, SENTRI, Global Entry or FAST Pass, please bring it with you as this will speed up the border crossing process.

Question

What do I need to travel by land to Mexico?

Answer

As border laws will be enforced, all tourists must fill out an FMM form before traveling to Mexico, it is required in case of local checkpoints or border enforcement when crossing. Please complete the form by clicking the link provided under the Travel Tab under "FMM form" You will also need your passport, and if you will be driving your personal vehicle here is the link for Mexican car insurance, https://www.bajabound.com

Question

is Taxi and Uber available?

Answer

Uber - can only take an Uber from the US/Mexico border to Villa del Paraiso or hotels to the property. There is no Uber service on the property or in the town of Primo Tapia. Taxi - please call and arrange for a taxi when you are ready to leave the property and return to your hotel. Villa staff can help you contact local taxis. There are always taxis at the border to take down to the coast. If you are staying at a hotel they can help you call a taxi. Ignacio Taxis: +52 661 112 7482 (contact on WhatsApp)
