Monterey Airport
The fastest way into the Monterey Peninsula is the Monterey Airport! This is quickest way to Carmel, but may require a layover in San Fransisco or San Jose. The flight path will take you directly over the Pacific Coast with sweeping views of the peninsula and the famous Pebble Beach golf course. However, flights are limited so we recommend looking for your flights early or setting up a flight tracker.

San Jose International Airport
A good option for those of you traveling from the East Coast may be from San Jose International Airport! An hour and fifteen minute drive to the peninsula, there are many direct flights from the New York area daily for your convenience!

San Francisco International Airport
The largest and most flexible airport will be SFO! There are multiple flights per day to accommodate your travel plans. While this the the furthest airport, it only adds about 25 minutes to your travel time versus San Jose Airport.

While there are many options, we do recommend booking early and setting up a price alert as downtown Carmel can be very popular in the summer and rooms book up quickly!
