Question

Did your venue change?

Answer

Yes, it did! Our original venue did not work out with the COVID restrictions still in place. Our new venue is all outdoors for the duration of the reception. While the new venue is still closer to the old one than Seattle, please review your hotel/transportation accommodations, in case you wish to change those to be closer to the new venue. If you have any questions about the reception regarding COVID restrictions, please reach out to the bride at 206-375-6232.

There's no ceremony?

Answer

No, there is not. We did plan on doing a second ceremony, but after having to change our wedding for what feels like the tenth time, we decided to scrap that part. We will still be wearing our wedding attire and will have pictures of the ceremony last year around for you to look at.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. The dress code is cocktail attire. We encourage you to wear whatever you're comfortable in within that dress code; cocktail attire is flexible. We will be spending the evening outside, so dress accordingly for the weather, anything from jumpsuits or dresses, to a jacket and slacks or a suit. You can leave the tie at home. A note for the venue is that everything is outside and mostly on grass. Please be aware of that when choosing shoes and deciding whether or not to bring a jacket.

Can I bring a date or my child?

Answer

While we wish we could have everyone at our wedding, that unfortunately is not the case. Beyond that, we have carefully selected the guests invited to our day and ask you to respect that decision. Your wedding invitation will indicate the specific guests invited.

What time should I arrive at the reception?

Answer

We suggest arriving at 5pm. There is no longer a ceremony, so we’ll be starting with cocktail hour.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

There is! Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided for guests. Apart from the cocktails during the first hour, we'll be supplying wine, beer, cider, and white claws. If there's any type of drink that you have to have, feel free to bring it yourself as we want everyone to enjoy themselves! (New venue is more lax).

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a large field to park in that is connected to the reception space. There will be signs on Hansville Rd NE to direct you to the parking area. The entrance to the parking area is on N E Salty Dog Ln, the road immediately after NE Bills Way.
