Directions

To get to the Wainwright Hotel, drive west on Heritage Drive past the large "H". Follow the road across the trolley tracks, around to the right, and continue until you are at the big black security gate beside the clock tower. Stop at the gate and check in with security - tell them you are here for the van der Poll and Zucht wedding at the Wainwright Hotel. They will either talk to you are just wave you in. Take the road straight up the hill and drive past the red brick building on your right. Take the road across the train tracks and to the right so there is a wooden boardwalk on your left. Follow this road into the town. The Hotel is the large building on the left. You may park perpendicular to the boardwalk surrounding the hotel. This can also be accessed the same way with a taxi/Uber. Parking

Please note, if you are driving you will be able to drive your vehicle into the park and park right outside the hotel for free. However, you CANNOT LEAVE YOUR CAR PARKED IN THE PARK OVERNIGHT. Should you drive there but require a cab or a friend to bring you home, you will need to arrange for your vehicle to be parked in the Heritage Park Parking Lot outside of the main gates overnight. Please note, there is a $3 fee to leave you vehicle parked in the parking lot overnight. We appreciate your pre-planning and hope you get home safely. Should you choose to come by taxi or Uber, these vehicles can also drive into the main park and drop you off / pick you up right outside the hotel.

Arriving By Transit

There are two city transit options to get you to Heritage Park during the winter season. Both buses are accessible by train, if you plan to fully use transit. Bus #20, the MAX Teal Rapid Transit Bus and the MAX Yellow Rapid Transit Bus will drop you off at the foot of the Heritage Park parking area, which is about a 5 minute walk to the security gate. However, there will not be transit from the security gate into the park, so you will need to plan to catch a ride at the gate with another guest!
