Question

Do we need to wear a mask?

Answer

You are strongly encouraged to wear a mask at our wedding, however we know it is implausible that all our guests will wear one the whole time. The state of michigan does require them to be worn when social distancing isn't an option, so if you aren't wearing one at least keep it near in case of the cops showing up. We WILL NOT tolerate ANY mask shaming, whether you're shaming for wearing one or for not wearing one. If you mask shame you will be asked to leave. Don't ruin our special day with any political bull shit.

Question

Are the reception and ceremony in the same place?

Answer

Yes, both are going to be held in our backyard! Guests are asked to hang out and throw back a few drinks while the wedding party travels to a park for some photos

Question

What do we do while the wedding party is taking photos?

Answer

Enjoy a cocktail or two and a couple snacks, Listen to the music, sit back relax and socialize.

Question

Can we bring the Kids?

Answer

We LOVE your kids but we don't want to worry about their safety during the ceremony and reception, we also want their parents to kick back and enjoy the party without the concern of caring for their children.

What happens if we are too impaired to drive home?

Answer

LYFT and UBER offers services to and from our home! So please please utilize this resource! DO NOT DRIVE UNDER THE INFLUENCE! BE SAFE!

NO! Smoking and vaping are allowed in the driveway or sidewalk but not directly in our backyard. This is to allow non-smoking guests to enjoy the fresh air.

Question

Answer

Please do not throw grains or rices, we don't want to hurt the birds or our dogs! Please also leave any weapons at home, we know this is America but you don't need your handgun at the wedding we promise.

What if we live too far to Uber or Lyft home?

Answer

There are several hotels, and motels within uber/lyft distance from our house. The prices range from expensive to cheap

Question

Do we have to stay during cocktail hour?

Answer

No of course not, cocktail hour was created to keep our guest entertained. We want you guys to enjoy our wedding as much as us, if you want to go run an errand or leave and come back for the reception that's fine! Just know you have the option to stay, snack and drink.
