The ceremony starts at 2:30pm, not 1pm. There was an error on the invitations! Better early than late though, am I right? :)
It all started with a Facebook message and a Zoom call. Tyler first caught my attention with a picture of him in front of a plane in Finland, where he was coaching overseas. My first impression? He was a traveler. But when we met face-to-face—virtually, on Zoom—it wasn’t for a date. It was a business call. I was helping him start his company, and from that moment on, we spent hours on video calls, working together, laughing, and slowly realizing that something special was happening. We became friends, then colleagues, and somewhere between those endless calls (so long that Zoom would tell us our free time was up), we fell in love. I was in Utah, he was in Oregon, but that didn’t stop him from making a bold move—he booked a flight to meet me in person for my birthday. Just like that, a guy I had never met in real life showed up, and our first real date was an adventure to Bear Lake. From there, our journey only grew. We built a business and a nonprofit together, moved states, tackled challenges, and chased our dreams side by side. And when Tyler proposed, he made sure it was just as special as our story—on a quiet beach in Newport, Oregon, with only the ocean, our two dogs, and a lifetime of love ahead of us. We are each other’s biggest supporters, adventure partners, and dream chasers. What started as a business call turned into the greatest partnership of all—forever.
