Jeff and I met in the Fall of 2014 on a dating site. Jeff invited me to watch him play softball on our first date, and naturally I brought my best friend Kayla so I wasn’t alone. I was nervous about meeting some weirdo from the internet, but it turns out, that weirdo was the love of my life. Jeff took me to the classiest place he could think of - The Mermaid - for the latter half of our first date. We played pool, arcade games and spent hours talking. It couldn’t have been better. We were inseparable. Fast forward 3 1/2 years, we knew we were meant to be. We always did. Jeff asked me to be his partner, best friend for life, right hand (wo)man and wife in the comfort of my home while I was in sweat pants and his old Menards sweatshirt. I didn’t look cute. That’s how I knew he meant it. (Jim and Pam reference...if you know, you know!) Life always throws curveballs, and we’ve definitely had our share. However through it all, we ended up stronger and happier. I’m beyond excited to become Mrs Vandeberg. I couldn’t ask for a better human. It truly doesn’t get any better than this.
