Things To Do
Kalero Vineyard is located in Loudoun County, which is the east coast's "wine country," about an h our outside of Washington DC. We are so excited to share some of our favorite things to do both in the Purcellville and the DC areas!
In DC, we recommend visiting any of the Smithsonian Museums (our favorites include Natural History, African American, and Portrait Gallery, among many others), Dumbarton Oaks, or the Philips Collection; walking around the monuments (we particularly love the WWII, Lincoln, and FDR), National Mall, Tidal Basin, Georgetown Water Front/Potomac River, etc; perusing local art and food at Eastern Market and Union Market; seeing a show at the Kennedy Center, Arena Stage, Shakespeare, Lincoln, Ford, or Warner Theaters; and exploring Rock Creek Park, Meridian Hill Park, and the other green spaces DC has to offer.
