Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress Code: Festive Garden Party Embrace the music festival spirit with your most cheerful attire. Think: Flowy dresses, floral prints, linen suits, or colorful button-downs with a jacket - but skip the tie! Comfortable shoes are a must for walking on the grass or gravel. Basically, dress for a fun summer party outdoors, where you can dance, enjoy barbecue, and celebrate with us!

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

We will have our ceremony outside on the lawn at Smuttynose Brewing Co. and we'll then celebrate under the tent for the reception. If it rains, we'll just bring down the tent walls and have both the ceremony and reception there. The weather this time of year should be gorgeous, with temperatures in the high 70s or low 80s in the late afternoon and cooling down in the evening to the mid 60s. Wear some comfortable shoes and a sweater or jacket so you can enjoy the evening!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We have some pretty special kids in our lives! The kids invited to our wedding will appear on your invitation - just see who it's addressed to and you'll know who to bring!

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

We have a private parking lot at the venue reserved just for our event. Feel free to park there!

Question

I don't have a car, how do I get to NH?

Answer

Trains baby! There is an Amtrak that runs from North Station in Boston to Exeter, NH at 60 Lincoln Street. The train is called the Amtrak Downeaster. From there, you can easily grab an Uber or Lyft to your hotel or Smuttynose.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity and budget constraints, we are unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those listed on the invitation.

Question

What does "Vandaski" mean?

Answer

While we both love our last names and don't plan to change them legally, we have come up with our own team name: Vandaski. It's a bit cheesy but we wanted to find a name to represent our household. Feel free to call us the Vandaski household, call our dog Shera Vandaski, and use the hashtag #VandaskiWedding to share moments from the day. Thank you all for being part of Team Vandaski!
