We’re getting Married!

Vance and I were in South Lake Tahoe on a family vacation, introducing his family to mine and celebrating all the birthdays that had passed in the previous few months, in this amazing VRBO (with some questionably large animals hung on their walls … like a leopard! lol). The day Vance proposed was amazing, it had been snowing big fluffy snowflakes all morning while we had a champagne breakfast. Eventually, we packed into our trucks and made our way into town. We arrived at the Hard Rock casino and gambled for a few minutes, then Vance mentioned we should go for a walk and get some fresh air. We walked over to the giant guitar and fire pits at the front of the Hard Rock and that’s when Vance held me close, looked me in the eyes, and told me all the things I needed to hear. Then he got down on one knee and asked me if I would be his forever person, and I happily said YES!
