Ben was working as a financial advisor in the K-12 system, and Paige had just started a new job in her current school district. After receiving countless emails about retirement benefits, Paige finally scheduled a meeting with this very persistent Ben guy. A zoom call and multiple (come to find out unnecessary) in-person meetings, Ben unofficially earned the title of "the hot finance guy" everyone in the building knew about. With a little encouragement from her coworkers, Paige took a leap and added him on Snapchat. After Ben finally added her back, Paige sent the first message saying, "Hey, I think we should get a drink or coffee sometime." Ben responded quickly, and a few weeks later they had their first date at X-Golf followed by dinner at Hop Cat. Not long after, Ben asked Paige to be his girlfriend and the adventure truly began. From golfing all over the Leelanau area to biking Mackinac Island to hiking Pictured Rocks, the two created countless memories together. Northern Michigan soon became their special place. On August 1, 2025, Ben took Paige to her favorite dive bar up north. After a chicken sandwich and a beer, they headed for a walk along Good Harbor Beach, Ben got down on one knee and asked Paige to marry him. And now...here we are ready to begin our greatest adventure yet!
