Our story started long before we even met—back when our parents were in college together in Cebu, probably never imagining their kids would end up falling in love years later in Florida. Fast forward a couple decades (and a big move later), we finally crossed paths thanks to them. What began as a simple introduction quickly turned into something a little more…. In 2015, we started dating, not knowing what it will become to be. What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into hours of talking, laughing, and realizing we had way too much in common to ignore. Somewhere between the jokes, the easy chemistry, and probably one of us oversharing just a little too early, we both knew this was different. What we didn’t know was just how quickly we’d go from “just talking” to basically inseparable. From there, things escalated in the best way—inside jokes, constant texting, and the kind of comfort that makes doing nothing together feel like the best plan. Over time, that spark turned into a love that felt steady, genuine, and meant to last. We learned each other’s rhythms, supported one another through every high and low, and found joy in both the big moments and the small, everyday ones.
