Maid of Honor
Became best friends through our drinking kickball league and our bond over Grey's Anatomy. Most likely to win over the heart of all the parents.
Best Man
The vast majority of my near-death experiences happened Curt is around, so naturally we are the best of friends. Whether we are in Ibiza, Mexico, New York or Minneapolis, we are always more than capable of causing a scene and making a story.
Bridesmaid
Definitely did not like each other when we studied abroad in China together, so naturally we became best friends after the trip. Most likely to cry more than me on our wedding day.
Best Man
Marriage should be easy after fighting and arguing with Brendan like a married couple for over a decade. Despite that, we still wear suits to James Bond movie premieres and have pillow fights that wake the apartment up at 4:00 am.
Bridesmaid
We also studied abroad together in China and she convinced a group of us to all drink 99 proof "wine" which blossomed our friendship. Most likely to make friends with strangers in Milwaukee and then invite them to the wedding.
Best Man
Contrary to Curt, Aaron has saved my life on multiple occasions. He single-handedly dragged Curt and I off of Ibiza, so you could say that Aaron is as much to thank for this wedding happening as anybody.
Bridesmaid
High School best friend who got me through hard times by laying in bed with me and eating all of my parents snacks. We bonded through being introverts but when we're together we are extroverts, but only to each other. Most likely to be the first one at late night.
Groomsman
Alex is my oldest friend, and were always competitive with each other. Once we grew up and stopped throwing our shoes at each other, a true friendship blossomed.
Bridesmaid
College roommates filled with endless unforgettable nights, including when she almost broke her ankle twice with me. Her dad no longer lets her sub on our kickball team. Most likely to out drink the groomsmen.
Groomsman
"G" had the misfortune of living with me for a full year and was so sick of it he bought a house to get away. Maybe it was my messiness, or maybe he thought I stole his hat.
Bridesmaid
Basically Peter's twin, well they did actually twin together in Germany (ask for the photo). Most likely to keep the groomsmen on their best behavior.
Groomsman
Just ask Carlos to make you one of his margaritas, and your night will surely be off to a great start. Maybe one of those nights will end up with you wearing a witch hat, asleep at a Champions League game in Munich.

Kara is quite grateful for Alex. He is the angel on my shoulder that orders me an Uber home rather than letting me walk two miles at 2:00 am, or the one that comes to rescue me from urban spelunking after a night out at the bar. He's also a Chelsea fan, so that gives him special prestige amongst this group.

Nothing says friendship like bringing home a dead branch that I pulled off of a tree to give as a Christmas tree. I don't think Kreg quite saw it the same way, but here we are. You can also forgive Kreg for being an Arsenal and a Packer fan. Man, the odds were really stacked against us, huh?

Nick and I were locker buddies for four years, but didn't become good friends until college. The friendship (and this wedding) nearly ended, however, when we were playing beer darts and Nick's throw hit the frame of the chair I was sitting on, directly between my legs. I am thankful for Nick's poor aim!

Officiant
My high school lacrosse coach from when I was 15. We've stayed connected over the last 10 years and Steve has been a big part of my life and has always been there through the ups and downs. I am beyond honored that he is going to be marrying Peter and I.
