Historic Market Square and Gay Street are some of our favorite places to go on dates, grab good food/drinks, and shop! Make sure to visit Chivo for tacos and margs, and Cruz Farm for ice cream after dinner
Ijams Nature Center
Van proposed here on the Tharp's Trace hike! Our absolute favorite place to get fresh air only a few minutes from downtown. Enjoy hiking, swimming, biking, kayaking, etc. We recommend visiting Mead's Quarry for all of the above
Yee-Haw Brewing (Knoxville)
Great spot for beer, fried chicken, and watching sports! One of our favorite places to hangout in Knoxville
Great Smoky Mountains National Park
A popular east TN destination, the Smoky Mountains are a must-see while in Knoxville! Take a ~40 minute drive up to Gatlinburg, TN for the classic tourist experience. You can also go for a drive on the Foothills Parkway or the Great Smoky Mountains Parkway for beautiful mountain views!
Old City
Visit downtown Knoxville's bar scene for a fun night out! Start at Old City Sports Bar for sports, Hanna's in the Old City for dancing, or Wagon Wheel for country music!
Cades Cove Scenic Loop
A little section of the Great Smoky Mountains that's easy access! The scenic driving loop at Cade's Cove is a great way to see the wilderness/wildlife of east Tennessee, or you can go on one of the many hikes they offer
Williams Creek Golf Course
Want to golf? This is one of Van's favorite par 3 courses only a few minutes from downtown Knoxville!
Seven Islands State Birding Park
One of Lily's favorite spots! Great for a quick outdoor walk or hike, beautiful river views, and it's not far from the venue
South Coast Pizza
The best pizza in Knoxville! Lily recommends the Cuban: sub chicken for pork, and Van recommends the Create Your Own: red sauce, cheese, chicken, and pineapple
