We love your kids, but you deserve a night out! This wedding is for the adults only! We hope that with advance notice, you will be able to make arrangements to attend our wedding.

Answer

While we would love to be able to provide everyone with a plus one, we are unable to do so. Your invitation will indicate the guests who have been invited and we ask that you do not bring any extra guests.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:30PM. There is an elevator to get to the ceremony venue that will begin bringing people upstairs at 5PM. At 5:30PM it will hold on further trips until after the ceremony has begun.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have several hotel blocks available for guests. Please see our "Travel" section for booking links. If you would prefer to stay at a different hotel, Chicago has plenty to choose from, additionally AirBnBs are available throughout the city. Most of our wedding events will be downtown or in Bridgeport (south near sox park) so our hotel blocks are all located downtown along the river.

Answer

Yes parking is available. If you prefer not to drive, our venue is accessible by rideshare services and additionally we will have shuttles leaving from the Westin Hotel Downtown. If you would like to use the shuttle, please indicate so in your RSVP.

There will be Welcome Drinks Friday night at the Dawson and everyone is invited! Please let us know in your RSVP if you plan to attend.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will provide shuttles from the Westin Hotel to the ceremony and reception. Additionally, at the end of the night the shuttles will take guests back to those locations. Please indicate in your RSVP if you will be using the shuttle service either both or one way.

Our wedding dress code is black tie OPTIONAL. That means cocktails dresses and suits are appropriate, if you want to bust out your very fancy attire- feel free to as well!
