Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by October 7th, 2026! We want to have enough time to get all of the personalized details surrounding the wedding finalized.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! Please look at the Registry section of the site. From there, you can directly purchase any item.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 2pm. To ensure there is enough time to park your vehicle and get comfortable please arrive by 1:30pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. There is a Semi-Formal dress code. This consists of suits, floor-length dresses, and cocktail dresses.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We politely ask that only those listed on the invitation attend. If a Plus One / Guest is listed, you are welcome to bring your significant other.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We would love for you to bring your children if listed on the invitation. However, we understand if you want a night out (and to take advantage of the open bar!) you can leave them at home.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are two hotel options within a reasonable distance listed on the Travel page. Direct links available. These hotels have reserved rooms at a discounted rate under “Vallort / Schmidt Wedding”.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, when answering RSVP questions, you will have the opportunity to list any food allergies and/or sensitivities.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot both next to and across the street from the ceremony at St Joseph Catholic Church. For the reception, there is a large parking lot at Carriage Greens Country Club.
