Our relationship began from the help of Anthony’s cousin, Mario. He knew we were both teachers and figured that we would be a good match based on our similarity in careers. Turns out, we had a lot more similarities than that! After a little reluctance, we finally met at the ever so romantic Blarney Island. The rest is history. Over the past 3 years, we have enjoyed making memories through everyday events, Cubs games, creating holiday traditions, and our yearly trips to our home away from home, Ft. Myers. We took our relationship to the next level on July 7 when Stefanie said “yes”. We look forward to taking the next step in our lives and can’t wait for you to be part of it!

On what seemed to be just another Gulf Coast sunset, Anthony asked a girl to take a picture to capture the vibrant colors in the sky. Little did Stefanie know, the big question was coming... After being rather picky, Anthony asked the girl to take more pictures, get more of the sky, etc. Stefanie thought to herself, “This poor girl didn’t sign up for this!” Actually, she did. A friend of a friend was able to be there to capture the best moment of our lives on video. Anthony popped the question and Stefanie said yes!
