Brandon and I met at his coffee shop, Cool Beans in 2019. Aftet multiple attempts, by me, to get his attention, he finally asked for my number. Our first date was like nothing I had experienced before. I left that date, called my mom, and told her I had met the guy that I had been praying for all this time. Brandon was/is very attentive and sweet. He would wake up early in the morning to meet me for breakfast at Chick-fil-A knowing I had worked the night before. In March of 2020, he asked me to be his girlfriend with a picnic in the park. He even had my favorite, cheesecake!! Soon after, we were struck with the world-wide pandemic. With me working in the middle of it, fear snuck into my heart. How would we make this work? As if working opposite schedules wasn't hard enough. Brandon's devotion to the Lord comforted me and reminded me of Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 "a threefold cord is not quickly broken." Date nights became a little different for us. We began growing in the Lord together. We learned communications skills and learned how to love each other, (still learning). Fast forward into May of 2021, Brandon surprised me with yet another picnic in the park and proposed!! We couldn't wait to start our life together, and with rising covid numbers, we decided we couldn't wait and tied the knot in September 2021.
