The Bear Valley Lodge

Other than the ceremony (which will be a few miles away at the actual ski mountain), everything will happen here! Due to the remote location of our wedding, we have a discount code to stay here for the nights of Sept 13th and Sept 14th. Go to the link below (View), select Book Online, and make sure to enter the group code before you search availability. We encourage our family and friends to book these rooms and enjoy all that the Bear Valley Lodge has to offer. There are 51 rooms and they all surround where the dinner/dance floor will be. All but one of the restaurants in town are located at this venue.

Important Things to Know

Bear Valley is a beautiful, remote mountain village. We have a discount code for rooms at the Bear Valley Lodge, and we are looking forward to the entire Lodge being full of our family and friends. After the Lodge is full, or if this next option is more your style, there are multiple camping spots near the venue. The glamping tents near the ceremony site will also be available. The Lake Alpine cabins are another option for after the Bear Valley Lodge is full. There are 4 restaurants in the Bear Valley Lodge, and one option at nearby Lake Alpine Resort. The general store has some dry and refrigerated foods available, as well as a variety of toiletries.

Sacramento International Airport and Reno-Tahoe International Airport are equal distance from the venue. If you aren't comfortable with mountain driving, we recommend flying into Sacramento!
