Hi! I’m Karys Watermellie!! I’m six years old!! I’m in first grade and I love going to school! I also like to do ballet, jazz and tap dance and I really like to swim!! My mommy is Ninang Rochie’s ninang! And then when I was born, Ninang Rochie became my Ninang! Ninang Rochie is the best ninang!! She really likes to spoil me all the time and always gives me the best gifts! I got a furry kitty and I named her Rosie!! I really love playing with my dogs and my horses!

Rose’s “unofficial” sister here! She is one of the most resilient, grounded and inspiring women in my life. We grew up next door to each other-adjoining our families, surviving our upbringings, sharing memories and experiences, celebrating life’s special moments together. We are made of love, happiness, good memories, late-nights, inside jokes, and laughter. We understand our roots, journeys, tribulations, and triumphs. I met Valezka, during one of the most challenging and heartbreaking moments in my personal life-the week leading up to my father’s passing. To this day, I am in awe of how seamlessly she melded into our family, and ever-grateful that she selflessly extended herself to us, as, both, a refuge and a pillar of strength. For this, I am forever in her debt.

I am 33 years young; I work in the medical device industry (heart valves); I am married with a 5 month old baby; I like food, wine and sleep and dislike blue cheese. Rose and I met during our formative years of boarding school on the first day of freshman orientation. Needless to say, from that first night playing cards in our dorm rooms to several embarrassing lip-syncs/incorrect karaoke lyrics with hair brush microphones later, we would become close friends for over a decade.

Hi, my name is Ramona. I am an Assistant Child Care Educator, native of the Dominican Republic, raised in New York, and currently reside in Boston Massachusetts since 2000. I moved to Miami, Florida in 2012 looking for independence were I met our lovely and beautiful bride to be Valezka Emes. We worked for Road America (we both hated it). I was always very quiet and kept to myself (sitting in the same seat) and then there was Valezka and her posse (lol) in their own row. Until one day, we were all seated in the same aisle. After that, I became part of the entourage. All I recall is taking the same breaks and lunch together and then a friendship prospered. My name is Malayphet, a mother of a 4 year old. I'm a transitional kindergarten teacher in Oakland. I lived in the Bay Area most of my life but was born in Laos. I have been friends with Valezka for severals years and a short term roommate. She became the office manager at the school where I teach, and we connected over our love for food, eating, and sticky rice. I introduced her to Korean Food, and it became one of her favorite cuisines. So she's pretty Asian. She is a loyal friend that isn’t afraid to tell you the hard truths and makes her presence known, even if you may not want her presence to be known LOL. I’ve had a rough past 3 years and she has supported me through my mother’s last days, my difficulties, and cherishes my Onyx and Chey. Can't wait to twerk with you at the wedding!

We have been friends for over 21 years. We use to hang out all the time, but then I moved back to California. We kept in touch throughout that time. When V moved to California, I was so excited we reconnected, and have remained good friends. I have been there through it all, and child was it a lot... But I am happy to see her happy. Hi. I'm Darlene, Rose’s favorite cousin (shhh don’t tell the others lol). I’m 38 years old. I love my sleep and spend time with my 2 beautiful nieces. Rose and I have always been close since I can remember. I lived with them at their house on Nelson Place when we were younger. I have lots of good memories there. My fondest memory is when I would help Rose and Kathy get ready for parties. I would help them shower, dress up in nice puffy dresses, and put their hair in big ass bows. As we got older we also became closer. We are both strong minded women, definitely Glovers for sure. I feel we are just as close as my Dad and auntie Lucy were. No matter how far apart, we always talk where we left off. I’m glad V and Rose found one another and get to spend a life time together. Luv u2 very much!
