We're Getting Married!

We met at a Starbucks. I was a barista and Josh was a regular customer. We had seen each other almost every day for 2 years. One morning as I was taking his order he asked me out. And my first instinct was to laugh. I had no idea if he was being serious or just joking. He was really asking me out! He quickly paid for his drink and left the counter. I didn't see him for a few weeks until one night he came in to shop. I started a small conversation and he asked me out again. I agreed, he took me to a nice restaurant in Victoria Garden's and the rest is history. ❤

Valery was in the kitchen starting dinner. I had been planning on asking her for weeks. Didn't know what to plan because of all the covid restrictions at the time. All I knew was that I had this ring, I want to marry this girl, and if I don't do it now I don't know when I'll do it. I go into the kitchen and get down on one knee. Valery had her back to me as she was holding a bowl of melted butter, she turns, stops and just stares at me. All she says is "ohh, stop playing around and get up". I look at her with tears in my eyes, pull the ring out and ask "Will you marry me?" She finally puts the butter down and says YES!
