This is Valery's favorite because of it's pirate history. This is the Original Panama City, built in 1519 by the Spanish and destroyed in 1671 by the privateer Henry Morgan. Entry Fees: Adults $10, Kids $3, University Students with ID $5 Fee includes a museum, shuttle ride to the ruins and really cool ruins
Casco Viejo, or the 'old quarter', is Panama City’s historic district. Considered a UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site, the district dates back to 1673, and features vibrant plazas and picturesque brick-paved streets surrounded by colorful buildings. Casco viejo has Museums, restaurants, shops, the Presidential Palace, and the national theatre.
