Question

What is the timeline for the wedding day?

Answer

Please note we'll be doing things slightly differently. We want to have as much time to party with you all so we will not be doing toasts or first dances. Our ceremony is nondenominational. The timeline is as follows: 4 pm - Guests arrive 4:30 pm - Ceremony 5 pm - Cocktail hour 6 pm - Dinner 6:45 pm - Cake cutting 7 pm - Dancing starts! 8:38 pm - Sunset 10 pm - Dance floor closes 10 pm & Onward - After-party

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress code is cocktail attire and we ask everyone to dress to impress! The wedding theme is celestial fairy forest and suggested colors will be on your invite.

Question

Are there accommodations?

Answer

Yes, we've blocked off rooms at Camp Cedar Ridge for everyone attending the wedding. The camp is set up of multiple buildings, and the layout of the reserved buildings (lower lodge, upper lodge, house, and loft) can be found here: bit.ly/3Dj0n5w If you're staying for the whole weekend, you will have a room reserved for you from Friday, May 17th to Sunday, May 18th. You will receive your room assignment closer to the wedding date. If you're coming from out of town and need recommendations for where to stay before or after the wedding, contact us! Also, if you need an ADA-compliant room while staying at Camp Cedar Ridge, let either Val or Andrew know before April 2nd.

Question

What kind of food and drinks will be served?

Answer

For cocktail hour, we're working with Hat Yai, a local Portland restaurant, to serve wings, mushroom skewers (vegan), and chicken skewers. Camp Cedar Ridge will cater dinner and you will receive a menu of what will be served closer to the wedding. All food will be served buffet style. For beverages, we will serve beer, alcoholic and non-alcoholic wine, and two signature cocktails. Other non-alcoholic drinks will also be available. Reach out to us if you have any beverage requests and fill out the Paperless Post RSVP if you have any food allergies.

Question

What's the best way to get to venue?

Answer

Camp Cedar Ridge is located about an hour outside of Portland and the best way to get there would be by car. If you need help coordinating a vehicle, contact Val or Andrew!

Question

What's the best way to RSVP?

Answer

We ask that you use the Paperless Post Save the Date invite to RSVP and make sure you answer the questions provided. If circumstances have changed, you should be able to edit your RSVP online but if for whatever reason you can't, let Val and Andrew know.

Question

Can anyone come to the rehearsal dinner and/or Sunday brunch?

Answer

Yes! If you're coming to the wedding, you're welcome to join us at the rehearsal dinner, Sunday brunch, or both.
