FAQs

If you have any other questions than what we have listed here please reach out to us. We are happy to answer!
Question

Can I Bring A Guest?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. We are only able to accommodate the guests formally invited on the invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family.

Question

What Is The Dress Code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Our dress code is semi-formal and colorful for Spring! Ladies can wear midi length, tea length, or floor length dresses or jumpsuits. Gentlemen can wear a suit or dress pants paired with a button-down shirt. Please no jeans.

Question

Will There Be A Bar?

Answer

Yes! Drinks are on us but the hangover is on you.

Question

Can I Take Pictures?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, so please no phones or cameras out. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have a hired professional to capture this moment for us and we promise to share photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like.

Question

Where Should We Park?

Answer

There is a parking lot with plenty of spots on the property. For our guests staying at our designated hotel nearby, there will be a shuttle taking our guests to and from the venue 2 hours before the ceremony and 2 hours after the reception.

Question

What Time Should I Arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. We kindly ask that you aim to arrive by 4:00pm to ensure you comfortably arrive on time. Drinks, dinner, and dancing will follow.

Question

Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

Our intention is to hold the ceremony outdoors and move indoors for the reception. Illinois weather can be unpredictable, but we've planned for that! If the weather doesn't cooperate we will move the ceremony indoors. We want everyone to have a good time rain or shine.
