It all started in Sep 2015 when a few of my fellow interns went out for drinks at Shakespeare's Pub (which is still standing on 6th street if you want to see our humble beginnings). One of the interns, Ben Mandelstein, also invited a few of his UT friends out to join us. Lucky for me, Ryan was one of those guys. Unfortunately, I didn't realize what a catch he was and we left that night without exchanging numbers. A few weeks later, my childhood friend John Howard asked if he could bring a friend to my birthday party. Yep, the friend was Ryan! I didn't want to make the same mistake twice, so this time I got those digits. We spent the next 7 years growing together and having many adventures. We cruised around Mexico, adopted our dog Spot, hiked Machu Picchu, went to loads of concerts, took road trips across the US, fostered 12 pups, and watched many, many eagles games together. GO BIRDS! Last year, we traveled to Costa Rica and had the most incredible time hiking to volcanoes and waterfalls and hanging on the beach with the howler monkeys. On our last night there, Ryan asked me the easiest question and gave me the prettiest ring I've ever seen. Now we live in our dream house on Montague Street. (Which i just learned 5 minutes ago is Romeo's last name from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet!) So the journey started at Shakespeare's Pub and now we're at Montague Street, but our parents are all very happy about this marriage, so the similarities end there. We're so excited to make this thing official and celebrate with the people we love most in this world! See you in September!
