Long Distance Love Story?

Valerie met Michael in November of 2022 -- however she was unaware that Michael was already acquainted with her as far back as October of 2020. How could this be? Well it just so happened that on this date, Michael’s friend Daniel was getting married to Valerie’s friend Ayriann. Valerie served as a bridesmaid in this wedding. It was the middle of the COVID pandemic so the wedding was broadcast on ZOOM, and Michael made sure he was in front of his computer for this momentous occasion. When Valerie graced his screen, Michael was "blown away" (Valerie’s words🙄). Michael initially asked Daniel about Valerie, but he wasn't too interested in pursuing her at the time. Two years passed and Valerie was still single. One day, she asked ‘her’ new friend Daniel if he had anyone that he could set her up with and Daniel knew just the guy -- someone who had inquired about her before (and happened to be available himself). One month after Valerie’s request, the two had the opportunity to meet during an arranged weekend of activities, courtesy of Daniel and Ayriann. According to Valerie, the initial interaction was a little disappointing. Supposedly, the conversation was awkward and Michael came off as socially inept. In fact, one of the first impressions that Valerie developed of him was that he was bad at board games -- and (for some reason) that was a major concern! On the final day before they parted ways Valerie thought to offer Michael just one more chance to impress her -- “just in case” there was something that she missed. After attending the congregation meeting and having lunch with their respective friends, they decided to meet at one of Michael’s favorite restaurants -- Culver’s -- for custard and a chat. That was the turning point! To Valerie’s delight, the supposed awkwardness had disappeared and the conversation that ensued was as smooth as French Silk Vanilla. It didn’t take long for her to realize that she wanted to get to know this intriguing fellow even better. They exchanged contacts and, well...the rest...is...history. How’s that for a love story🥰? Btw -- turns out that Michael wasn’t so bad at board games after all -- he just knew the right moves to make at the right time😉!
