Valerie and Mikey met on a cold fall’s day of October 16th, 2021. Our mutual friend, Mckenzie, had introduced one another after picking up Mikey from his shift at the ice cream parlor to grab a drink at a local bar. It was here Mikey had employed the strategy of separating himself from the group to play Jenga, a game normally played by two people, in hopes that Valerie would accompany him. Valerie decided to join the boy who smelled of ice cream and waffle cones not only out of pity, but she joined to get to know him a little more. It was at this moment the two become inseparable and took the relationship in stride.
