She walked into a Toronto cafe for brunch with a group of friends and he immediately thought she was spectacular. But, he had already finished breakfast and received the bill. If he left now... He got up to refill his coffee three times, just to get closer. But, their eyes never met. The server was less than subtle about wanting to turn over his table. "Fine. I'll go. But, only if you promise to take this business card to the beautiful blonde over there." The server rolled her eyes hard, "Seriously, dude?" He handed over his improvised love note and hurried out the door, a clammy over-caffeinated mess. Two days later, fate put them in the same room again. She recognized him from his card, only this time, he was oblivious. She texted his number and the two made plans to hit the town that night... along with three of her best friends and their beaus. By midnight, the consensus was general approval of this weird hairless guy who claimed to be an actor playing an android on a Disney TV show... not an actual alien, or human oddly cheerful about suffering from alopecia. The next seven years were spent dancing between Toronto, Minneapolis, and Los Angeles. When they weren't holding hands in those cities, it was in Montréal, San Francisco, Chicago, Amsterdam, London, and Paris. They have kissed on the glaciers of New Zealand, the beaches of Sri Lanka, and in the jungles of Peru. She moved to Los Angeles in 2015. They eloped in 2017. Now, they celebrate with you.
