We met slowly through Buskey Cider Trivia Night. Valerie started going to trivia with her friend Grace, and they started to become friends with another group. Valerie and Jarod would see each other at Trivia, F1 race brunches, and other places around Scott's addition. One night, Grace and Valerie ended up at Buskey for a drink, and Jarod was there. Valerie sat next to him and started chatting with him before she and Grace left to meet up with other people. With Grace's invitation, Jarod joined in, and that allowed Jarod to make his move. He expressed his interest, and in two days, they had their first date. Come to find out, one of their other friends, Rich, had also mentioned to Jarod that Valerie was interested in getting to know him. So with a little help from some friends, our story began. We knew almost immediately that we were meant for each other and quickly began to build a loving relationship. After a few months, Jarod brought up his desire to move to Florida. Without hesitation, Valerie decided to go with him to continue their life together. Now we are enjoying life down here in Orlando, FL, with Valerie coming up on her 4th year as a PT, and Jarod is a Supervisor for Universal's Epic Universe. We are so excited to continue our journey with a big celebration with our closest friends and family up in VA, where is all started!
