Wedding Party

We Couldn't Do Any of This Without These People (Descriptions by Lis - Edited LIGHTLY by Val)

Amy Mazzei

Best Person

Amy has been my ride or die since I met her. She’s the kind of person who would help you bury the body—as long as she could sanitize her hands before and after. Also famous for being the life of the party and for her Olaf-style warm hugs, everyone should have an Amy in their life.

Elizabeth Alioto

Person of Honor

Whenever you ask Liz to do you a favor, she's all in for her friends. The biggest heart in a small package, whenever you interact with her, you just can't help smiling. Known for her love of sharp objects, fast food and crystals, it was clear she was a kindred spirit from the first time we met her!

Katey Zeh

Officiant

She was ready to marry us before we were actually engaged. I don't think Val and I could of asked for a bigger cheerleader for our relationship. I know she's going to make me cry up there, damn her.

Tom Ellis

Flower Child

I've known Tom for 14 years now. Has it been that long?? From the first day I petted his head, to when he consoled me as I cried on the phone as my life was falling apart, and all the video games in between, Tom is a constant companion that makes my life better every day he's in it.

Toni Vella

Mother of the Bride

Toni, my mom, was born at some point in the 20th century. As a coach, my mom, and now the mother of the bride, she has had to put up with too many eye rolls and more "but mommmm"s than anyone could count. That she keeps coming back for more is a testament to how much she loves me. She currently is retired, living in the middle of nowhere IL, where she volunteers for a ton of good causes, hangs out her her sister, who has too many grandkids to count, and makes sure my Dad turns off YouTube at least once a day.

Phil Vella

Father of the Bride

Phil Vella, father of Lis, is a worldly man with an illustrious career in the Navy. His mustache, nose size, and horrible jokes are famous around the world. A kind and decent man, he spearheaded the "spoiling his daughter rotten" movement in the 90s. Coming to a wedding aisle in NC soon...
