Ashley and Valerie have been friends for over 10 years. Upon first meeting each other at their first nursing jobs in Dallas, Texas, they knew they would be friends for life! They grew up together over the years, working and playing in the big city, and Devon even got the chance to meet Ashley when she got married! Now, we can't wait to have her be a part of our big day!
Bridesmaid
Melissa and Valerie have been friends for over 10 years. After first meeting in 2010, Valerie knew she had found a soul sister in Melissa. Fun-loving and sharing a lot of common interests (including yoga!) Val and Mel have made some fabulous memories over the years. They were even roommates in Dallas for a couple years! We can't wait to have her at our wedding!
Bridesmaid
Sheena and Valerie met through mutual friends in Dallas, and their friendship has remained strong ever since. Sheena and Valerie share the same love for laughing! ..... But also, Valerie has always valued Sheena's perspectives and she was always there to support and lend a listening ear to a friend. Completing a very strenuous PA (physician's assistant) program in the spring, we are so happy to have her with us!

Justin and Devon are cousins from his mother's side. Justin currently lives in Portland, Maine, but the two grew very close when Justin would spend summers in Indiana during their teen years. Between the two of them, they got into their fair share of fun and trouble!

Alex is the younger brother of Valerie and Veronica, who has always been there when needed. He lives in the family's hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana with his daughter Jema who will be the most beautiful flower girl! He is undoubtedly close to his sister Valerie and Devon as well!

Ed is Valerie's brother in law (married to her sister, Veronica). He is genuinely the life of the party and played a crucial role in the introduction of Devon and Valerie when they first met. Therefore, Ed has known this couple for the entirety of their relationship, and so it is only fitting he be apart of the big day!

Hayden is Devon's son who, although not blood, is also a son to Valerie. Hayden is a 13-year-old, fun-loving teenager, who enjoys video games, spending time with his family, and riding his various 2-wheeled modes of transportation - skateboarding, scooters, and hoverboards!
Mother of the Bride
Jennie is the sweet mother of the bride. Always the most thoughtful and considerate, Jennie has been a tremendous support to her three children over the years. From moving Valerie to Dallas to start her nursing career to flying back every subsequent year to help her move apartments (which we all know is ZERO fun!) Jennie has always been Valerie's biggest cheerleader. Now a GRANDmother, she enjoys spending time with her growing family and painting!
Father of the Bride
Tony is the fun-loving father of the bride. Anyone who has met him, KNOWS! Although he is a man of few words, Tony has always put his children first and wanted nothing but the best for them. Tony worked very hard for his family over the years and now enjoys retirement and running his furniture business in Fort Wayne. There are a lot of similarities between Valerie and her dad, including their love of Bloody Mary's!
Mother of the Groom
Debbie is the mother of the groom. She is a social butterfly that will converse with virtually anyone and enjoys the company of family and friends. She has always been there to lend an ear and to support both of her children, Devon and Branden. Debbie was so excited to meet Valerie for the first time, that she brought her breakfast one morning during the couple's first months of dating!
Father of the Groom
Scott is the hardworking father of the groom, who recently retired from the United Parcel Serice. In Scott's spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and working on his farm. Scott is always there to lend a hand when needed. Scott first met Valerie, when she had a bit of car trouble at Devon's house. Valerie was shocked to see the striking similarities of Devon to his dad!
