Where is the wedding taking place?

The ceremony and reception will both be at The Lakehouse in Halifax

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes - there is parking available at the venue. There is also a shuttle that will be provided to and from the hotels.

Will the shuttle go to both hotels?

Answer

The shuttle will be going to the Fairfield Inn and Suites. All three hotels are within walking distance to the Fairfield so it should be easy to catch the shuttle!

Are children invited to the wedding?

This will be an adults-only event.

What if I have allergies or dietary needs?

Please let us know when you RSVP what your restrictions are. Our venue offers a the ability to adjust the selected menu items or will help accommodate should those not work.

When will dinner be?

Answer

Our wedding is on the later side, so dinner won’t be served until around 8:30 so plan for a late lunch if necessary. There will also be passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour.

Is there an after party?

Answer

There is no official after party. Our wedding is a bit later and will be going until midnight!

What colors are the bridesmaids wearing?

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Feel free throughout the rest of the night but we would really appreciate the ceremony to just be photographed by our professionals. Thank you!

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is outdoors. The cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.
