Our first date was a Halloween event at Warner Brothers, after Hector invited Valeria and her cousin Isabel encouraged her to go. On that night, Hector described Valeria as “wifey material,” and Valeria couldn’t believe she actually felt the famous butterflies that evening. 💫

After 7 years of dating, 5 years building their home in Pomona, 3 very spoiled standard poodles, 8 chickens, and 15 fruit trees… He surprised her with a weekend trip to Catalina Island. At the island’s highest and most beautiful viewpoint, he got down on one knee, pulled out a ring, and asked the question—though what he said in that moment will stay just between them 🤭💍
