Are there any Covid Travel restrictions in Mexico?

Answer

Mexico does not have any restrictions for travelers, however, the US government requires a NEGATIVE Covid-19 test for reentry. . There is a testing site located right in the parking lot of the airport on the second floor. The cost of a rapid test is $500 pesos or about $25 USD and it takes 30min-1hour to have the results emailed to you.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

That is totally up to you. Uber is widely accessible within the city and from pickup/drop off to the airport. Once we get RSVPs we will arrange transportation for all of our guests the day of the weeding (to the venue and back).

Most of the cute places I know to eat and drink are around Chapalita and in Chapultepec or *Chapu* so that would be my 2nd recommended place.

Is there an Airline you recommend?

I usually fly on budget fares via Volaris because they fly directly from Chicago-Guadalajara twice a day. Depending on your origin, Volaris and Aeromexico might have more options for direct flights than other airlines. If you are bringing Checked Baggage you might want to allow extra time to wait in line to check-in your bags on the way back. Most importantly! You should bring a pen to fill out migratory forms upon entry!!
