Is there a dress code?

The dress code is black tie optional.

Will transportation be available?

Answer

Limited transportation will be provided from the Omni Shoreham to Immaculate Conception Church. Two trips, each accommodating 22 passengers, will leave the Omni for the church at noon and 1:00 pm. Two similar return trips to the Omni will be available, with one trip immediately following the Marriage Ceremony and a second trip approximately one hour later.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Church: Street parking is available in front of the church (N St NW) and adjacent on 8th St NW. Overflow parking is available on O St NW. Reception: Valet Parking is $35/day. Street parking is available on Calvert St NW.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. Guests can either rest and refresh before the reception begins, or head straight to the Omni Shoreham Hotel to mingle at the Marquee Bar and Lounge. Cocktail hour will begin at 5:30 pm.

Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?

Answer

After the wedding ceremony, we will be serving passed hors d’oeuvres accompanied by an open bar. We invite you to toast to our nuptials with a curated selection of wine, beer and our signature cocktails.
