The beginning of our forever

Their story began two years ago when Valeria and Charlie matched on a dating app. He asked for her number, they talked briefly… and then nothing. It seemed like one of those moments that quietly faded away. Somehow, they kept matching again and again — deleting and re-downloading the app. On December 31st, 2024, a friend told her to hide under a table and eat grapes to find the love of her life (a Latin tradition that never fails). That same night, she wrote a letter to God, ready to finally meet the person she had prayed for all her life. Two weeks later, Charlie appeared again. One last chance, she thought. She asked him, “Are you going to ask me out or what?” and he replied, “I guess the tenth time’s the charm.” Their first date was at PopStroke, followed by line dancing at Cowboys. Charlie thought she didn’t like him — little did he know, she was already planning how to steal a kiss. From that day on, they never stopped choosing each other. After only a few dates, Valeria knew he would one day be the father of her children (she says ten… though Charlie still believes she’s joking). Charlie is kind, funny, intelligent, and endlessly patient, and Valeria is loving, joyful, and full of life. From the very beginning, they both felt they had found in each other the partner they had been praying for. Together, they laugh endlessly (especially at Charlie’s dad jokes), keep one another grounded, and turn even the smallest moments into memories filled with love, and no matter how much she tries, she never wins a single game against him. They both feel incredibly blessed, believing that God placed them in each other’s lives at the perfect moment. What began as a simple match became a love story filled with faith, laughter, and purpose — and now, the beginning of their forever.
